Spence and Tommy, I'm very sorry about Spencer. I remember Spencer as being very energetic. He would come to my parent's house in Bennettsville to cheer us up and get updates on my brother that was in service overseas. We appreciated his visits very much.

I am really at a loss for words. Spencer was a wonderful person and a great dad who loved his son with all his heart. He was a great friend and I will miss his smile, laugher, jokes, and stories he would tell. My thoughts and prayers are with Spence and Thomas as they go through this time of loss. Heaven got another angel and he is now with his beloved wife. RIP Spencer you will be missed.

He will always be remembered as the best Pool man in Myrtle Beach. I enjoyed our last visit back in July and will treasure it always. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tommy and Spence during this difficult time.

We have had the privilege of knowing Spencer for the last 15 years. We met when he lost his wife and was faced with the challenge of raising young Spencer on his own. Just moving into town that year, our sons became best friends and still are till this day. Spencer was a wonderful provider and Dad to Spencer, Jr. We've always admired the way he was able to be both Mom and Dad and provide for his boy. We thought the world of Spencer and love Spencer Jr. like our own son. We are so sad to see Spencer pass, but know that his teachings and guidance to young Spence have made him a strong and independent businessman. We hope that Spencer, Sr. will now rest in peace, reunited with Mickell, knowing what a wonderful job he successfully completed here on earth.
