I got the call as I getting ready to leave for her house.I loved Teddy like she was my own family. Being with her was never like going to work but spending time with a dear friend. We would laugh and tell each other stories of our lives. She loved when I shared pictures of my silly dog, my garden, and my nephew. I am completely heartbroken. I know she is with my her beloved now and finally feeling like herself again. We actually talked about what Heaven was like last week while I rolled her hair. She painted the most beautiful picture of it and the people we would be surrounded by. I will miss her dearly and pray for strength for her family as they heal from this loss.

Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your dear Aunt Teddie, as the Fersner clan called her. Personally, I'm not sure I ever met her, although she may have been at our wedding, 24 years ago. However, after Jeff's mom passed away in 2008, (Betty Jo Fersner) Teddie called. She and I spoke for over an hour. I'm not sure I have ever laughed so much! It was a delightful conversation covering many subjects and I'm glad I have that memory. This world has truly lost a bright star, but she will surely light up the next. Sending prayers to you all. --Mary and Jeff Fersner
