Vera Kasper Obituary

MYRTLE BEACH | Vera V. Kasper, 82, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Wintersville, OH died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at her residence of natural causes.



She was born in Fulton County, Pa., on Nov. 27, 1921, the daughter of the late William D. and Mary E. Ritchey Mellott. Preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Kasper on Oct. 13, 1992, and three brothers, Russell, Harper, and Marion Mellott and two sisters, Jessie Turner and Blanche Lee.



Vera was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Steubenville and was a homemaker.



She is survived by two daughters, Julie (Richard ) Burris, with whom she resided, of Myrtle Beach, and Ruth (Larry) Prekup of Follansbee, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Anna LaRue, Andrew and Katherine Burris, and Danielle Prekup, and a great-grandson, Joshua Kimble.



Friends may call on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. till time of funeral services at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Pastor Rober Matej to officiate. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
