Died: March 11, 2023 in Ottawa, IL
Angela Walkling, 70, of Ottawa passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Angela was born on August 2, 1952 in Streator to Joseph and Angelina (Columbo) Tomasello. She was a graduate of Streator High School, class of 1970. Angela married Eugene Walkling on May 29, 1976 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ottawa. She enjoyed bowling and bowled for over 50 years at Carrettos's. To many in Ottawa she was known as the cookie lady. She would bake cookies from sun up to sun down.
She is survived by her husband Gene and two children, Daniel and Cynthia, both of Ottawa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lila Bellis and Dorothy Minkus

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Angie was one of the first people I came to know in Ottawa when we relocated in 1991. She will be missed.
