Cary G. Renn, 61, of Streator passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 5, 2025 in South Carolina.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday, September 14th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 15th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Streator.
Born May 3, 1964 in Streator he was the son of Gary and Denise Elliott. He married Dawn Luckey who was the love of his life on June 20, 1996.
He is survived by his wife Dawn; twin daughters, Cara (Patrick Lindley) Renn and Cheri (Javier) Arroyo; grandchildren, Reagan, Declan and Zain; his mom, Denise; brother, Scott (Rich Barker) Renn; sister, Lisa (Jan Lancaster) Renn; nieces, Tara Taylor, Haylee Bruce and McKenzie Bruce; nephews, Matthew Taylor and Dylan Taylor; sister in law, Cindy Taylor and Tammy (Jeff Bruce) Luckey; brother in law, Larry (Lisa) Luckey; several uncles and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James and Gert Morland; his uncle, Jim Moreland; sister, Mary Jane Renn; step-father, Gary Elliott; and mother and father-in-law, Carol and Russ Luckey.
Cary enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, riding his Harley and playing with his RC cars and trucks. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Cary was a mechanic for several years and currently worked for Brunton Freight.
