Died: September 18, 2021
Cody Jacob Graham, 25, of Streator passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Reihl, Andrew Hartley, Brenden Flemming and Alexis Snow.
Born February 16, 1996 in Ottawa he was the son of Jack A. Graham Jr. and Suzanne Surrock.
He is survived by his mother, Suzanne "Sue" (Bruce) Moore of Streator; his father, Jack A. Graham Jr. of Streator; sisters, Jamie Roberts of Streator and Carlee Surrock of Westmont; paternal grandmother, Sandra Kay Graham of Streator; an uncle, Paul (Fawn Centko) Surrock of Streator and a nephew, Brenden Fleming of Streator.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack A. Graham Sr.; maternal grandparents, Lillian A. and Edward C. Surrock; a cousin, Emily Surrock; and an uncle, Robert Dean "Bobby" Graham.
Raised in Streator Cody attended local grade schools and graduated from Streator High School.
He was a member of the former St. Stephen's Church in Streator.
Cody battled Cystic Fibrosis his entire life and participated in many research studies to find a cure for the disease. Through these efforts a miracle drug was developed a few years ago that helped Cody to have a normal life and hope for the future. He went on to earn his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Chemistry from Bradley University. He had just started his first job with Advanced Technology Services with Caterpiller. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends.
