Dan was my oldest and one of the dearest friends that I have. We go back to 75 years starting in Cornell, Illinois. We hunted and fished together as kids, and then we matured and life got in the way. We reconnected over 12 years ago and our weekly conversations were something we enjoyed together always talking about our childhood. Dan never forgot who he was or where he came from. I will miss him dearly.
