Born: June 1, 1937 in Tonica, IL
Died: July 21, 2022 in Spring Valley, IL
Dolores Ann "Dolly" (Bernardoni) Knoblauch, 85, of Oglesby, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at St. Margaret's Health, Spring Valley.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Prey-Mueller Funeral Home, Oglesby with Pastor Martha Curry of Abundant Life Fellowship, LaSalle officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Knoblauch was born June 1, 1937 in Tonica to Aldo and Anna (Focci) Bernardoni. She attended Tonica High School. She married Rod Knoblauch on February 15, 1957 at the Oglesby Baptist Church.
Mrs. Knoblauch was employed with the Oglesby Police Department as a dispatcher for 15 years. She was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship, LaSalle. She enjoyed gardening and making tortellini (ravioli).
Survivors include her husband, Rod; four children, Kevin (Patty) Knoblauch of Ottawa, and Kim Knoblauch, Jim (Susan) Knoblauch, and Doug (Heather) Knoblauch all of Oglesby; eight grandchildren, John (Jennifer) Craig, Steve (Andrea) Craig, and Paul (Breck) Craig all of Ottawa, Morgan Knoblauch of Lenexa, KS, Brett Knoblauch of Pompano Beach, FL, and Aubrey, Eric, and Shea Knoblauch all of Oglesby; seven great-grandchildren, Sydney, Miranda, Julia, Lilly, Lucas, Darby, and Eugenia; two brothers, Jim (DeeDee) Bernardoni and Joe (Nancy) Bernardoni; three sisters, Theresa (John) Zielinski, Rosemary (Ron) Volpe, and Darlene (Warren) Jacobs; two sisters-in-law, Darlene Bernardoni and Arlene Bernardoni; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mike Knoblauch; grandson, Evan Knoblauch; brothers, Donley Bernardoni, Bob Bernardoni, Bill (LouAnn) Bernardoni, Jack Bernardoni, and Donald Bernardoni; and a sister, Denise Mertens.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
