Born: March 8, 1950 in Ottawa, IL
Died: March 27, 2026 in Morris, IL
Cathy Marie Ott, 76, of Seneca, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Morris Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Seneca, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church with Father Ryan Mattingly officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Seneca.
She was born on March 8, 1950 in Ottawa, Illinois to Roland and Marie (Wright) Sisk. Cathy grew up in Seneca and graduated from Marquette High School. She worked at Reliable in Ottawa for over 10 years and made some very special friends there.
Cathy was known for kindness and devoted love toward her family. She enjoyed spending every minute with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Ott; her children, Kristi (Scott) Spurgeon and Ryan (Amy) Ott; four grandchildren, Riley and Jackson Spurgeon and Ada and Alexander Ott; and her siblings, Richard (Cathy) Sisk and Patty (Kevin) Bublitz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Roland and Thomas Sisk.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Loyola Kidney Transplant Group or the Lupus Foundation.
The family would like to thank Loyola Hospital for their continued care and support.
Cathy will be forever in our hearts.
