Priscilla M. (Jones) Robertson, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at The Pavilion of Ottawa, Illinois.
Priscilla was born in Corbin, Kentucky on January 9, 1944, the daughter of Charles and Mae Jones. She married Billy M. Robertson on September 3, 1967. They shared 48 blessed years of marriage, living a wonderful life and raised a beautiful family together. Bill passed away on June 28, 2015. Priscilla and Billy served the Lord together for 48 years and much of their ministry was at Victory Baptist Church of Rockford for over 40 years.
Priscilla held several jobs including bookkeeping with Carl Buddig and driving for Septran. She also taught children’s Sunday School, was a wonderful pastor’s wife and enjoyed singing any chance she had. Priscilla was blessed to have gone on several foreign mission trips, and she truly enjoyed driving through the parks and down country roads. Above all else, her true passion and loves in life included her Lord Jesus, the Holy Bible, being a prayer warrior, Irises, painting and reading books, enjoying some good Hostess Twinkies, cooking and serving others, listening to music, hosting tea parties, feeding God’s wonderful creatures, going to thrift stores, baking her famous peanut butter pies and most important of all, spending time with her dear family, friends and loved ones at the center of her world. Priscilla will be dearly missed.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Connie (Mark) McCracken of Farson, Wyoming and Joel (Deneé) Robertson of Seneca, IL; grandchildren, Aundrea (Brian) Darling of Marseilles, IL, Micah Robertson of Minooka, IL and Natalie Robertson of Seneca, IL; great-grandchildren, Paxton Purdy and Payton Robertson; brother, Dale (Mary) Jones of Leroy, IL; brother-in-law, Chuck Spiller of North Judson, Indiana; many nieces and nephews and numerous in-laws. Priscilla is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mae Jones, husband, Billy M. Robertson and her sister, Darlene Spiller.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robertson family for Missionary Projects to be established in Priscilla’s name.
