Elizabeth (Betty) J. Gorski, 71 of Streator passed away Wednesday (June 23, 2021) at her home
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 – 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at noon at the funeral home with cremation rites following services.
Betty was born on April 17, 1950 in Streator to William and Eleanor (Lieske) Podkanowicz.
Surviving are daughters, Brigitte Hall and Tammy (Jon) Monferdini both of Streator, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, sisters, Cathy (Butch) Hallam of Geneva, FL, Victoria (Gary) Loebach of Raleigh, NC, Valerie "Bunny" (Terry) Kennedy of Streator, Darla Teegardin of Streator and Lisa (Greg) McCallister of Cornell and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son William in infancy and a granddaughter Dani Bivens.
Betty attended Woodland School. She retired from Owens Illinois Glass in 2014. Betty enjoyed horses, horseback riding, fishing and going to beaches.
Memorials may be made in her name to Pet Project.

So sorry for your loss. I´ve known Betty for over 45 years as I worked with her at Owens and going to retiree monthly lunches. Been friends on FB for a long time. Sending prayers for your family!!
