Greg "Lightning Bolt" Ailor, 63, of Seneca, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at his home after a seven-year battle with brain cancer.
Funeral services will be private. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Greg was born on August 2, 1959, in Brookfield, MO, to Edwin and Louetta (Richardson) Ailor. In 2016, he married Patricia Redford of Seneca, who survives.
Greg was a member of Labor's Local 393 for over 20 years, and then was employed by Ravine Woods in Morris until his retirement. He enjoyed his Harley, being at his camper, his feline friend Chloe, and playing poker with his best friends, HJ, Jana, and Jerry. Greg never knew a stranger. With his unique voice, you would always know when he was near.
Greg is survived by his wife, Patricia Ailor; his children, Tyler (Breanne) Ailor of Dayton, Travis Ailor of Ottawa, Jackie Naas of Marseilles, and Jennifer Stewart of Marseilles; his grandchildren, Harrison and Silas Ailor, Lilia Ailor, Brad (Tanya) Anderson, Billy (Lauren) Anderson, Haley Stock, and Abby Stock; five great-grandchildren; his siblings, Stephen of Kansas City, MO, Mike of TN, Dave (Cammy) of FL, Doug of FL, and Pam (Butch) Gage of MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Megan in infancy.
