Died: September 18, 2024 in Ottawa, IL
James "Jim" F. Duff, 70, of Ottawa, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at his home, surrounded by family.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller funeral Home in Ottawa.
James was born on July 22, 1954 in Joliet to Eugene and Rita (Hofer) Duff. He was an electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local #176 for 35 years. James married Linda Riley on December 29, 1979 in Lojolla, CA. James enjoyed reading, loved trains and building train layouts, and most of all, he loved his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; three children, Jesse (April) Duff, Jennifer (Josh) Kazmierczak, and Ryan Duff; five grandchildren; five brothers, Phil, Mike, George, Bobby, and David; and a sister, Terry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Diane and Kathleen, and a brother, Pat.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
