James E. Wright, 61, of Marseilles passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Morris Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jim was born on February 12, 1960, in Ottawa, to Howard and Ruby (Hill) Wright. On May 24, 1986, he married Dorrie Hicks of Marseilles who survives.
He was employed by Nabisco and later as a security guard at Exelon until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and attending high school sporting events. Jim had a great sense of humor, and he was always pulling pranks and joking around. He was a loving and proud grandpa.
Jim is survived by his wife, Dorrie; a daughter, Jamie (Dusty) Kaster of Bloomington; one granddaughter, Hadley Streich of Bloomington; a sister, Nancy (Tim) Maltas of Spring Valley; and one nephew, Christopher (Amber) Maltas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Brad Alan in infancy.
