Janet M. Kinkade

Born: September 28, 1940

Died: December 14, 2020

Janet M. Kinkade, 80 of Streator passed away Monday, December 14, 2020.

Private family services will be held at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be son-in-law, Michael Shepherd, grandsons, Michael Shepherd II and Robert Chappell, nephews, Marc Willey, Larry Sullivan and Robert D. Brennan.

Janet was born on September 28, 1940 in Streator to Lawrence and Marcella (Ploskunak) Renn. She married Edward L. Kinkade. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2020.

Surviving are; son Craig (Sue Sangston) Kinkade of Streator, daughter, Laurie (Michael) Shepherd of Sweetser, IN, grandchildren, Brandi (Robert) Chappell of Converse, IN and Michael (Chelsey Soultz) Shepherd II of Swayzee, IN, great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Robby Chappell of Converse, IN and a brother Donald Renn of Las Vegas, NV and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Raymond Renn and a sister Marcelline Willey.

Janet graduated from Woodland High School in 1958 and retired from Thatcher Glass. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard, spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in her name to the American Kidney Foundation.
