Was a year behind John in school. Was a good example for me in many ways. I was there, when he set the record, in the shot put. His father was a wonderful vet, I´m sure John followed in his footsteps.
Me he RIP, and God look over his family.

I was two years ahead of John in Vet school when we met. He was larger than life then and that never stopped. Booming laugh, incredibly generous not spirit and a great friend to those who knew him. We didn't see each other often but it always brightened my day when we did. May his family, friends and community find peace with his passing. He will be missed and he is irreplaceable.
