John Rodriguez Obituary
in Illinois
John A. Rodriguez, 63, of Streator passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at O. S. F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Solon-Telford Funeral Home. Tony Ross will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Solon-Telford Funeral Home in Streator. Cremation rites will be accorded following Funeral Services and burial will be at Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
Born April 4, 1958 in Sterling, he was the son of Jesse and Juanita (Espinoza) Rodriguez.
He is survived by his parents, Jesse and Juanita Rodriguez of Streator; his daughters, Kristi Rodriguez of Streator, Kari Rodriguez of Streator, Kelsi Rodriguez of Streator; his step son, Russell Delehanty of Marseilles; his grandchildren, Keaton Oswald, Kylee White, Carter White; his sister, Jacklyn (Jeff) Yacko of Streator, his brothers, Jay Rodriguez of Streator and Joe (Stephanie) Rodriguez of Streator.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Slagle-Rodriguez; his brother, Jeff "Taco" Rodriguez and his nephew, Jake Rodriguez.
John graduated from Streator High School in 1976 and continued his education at Bradley University. He served in the United States Navy and worked at J's Tires in Streator for 30 years.
John was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, and Cubs. He loved to bowl and will be dearly missed by his family.
Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
