Died: September 7, 2023 in Streator, IL
Theodore Kirk Simpson, 63 of Streator passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 7, 2023 in Streator.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 11, 2023 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator, with Pastor Bill Kehoe officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Cemetery, Streator. Honorary Pallbearers will be Anthony Simpson II, Trent Wilhelm, Josh Horton, Stephanie Simpson, and Shelby Simpson. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Kirk was born July 7, 1960 in Streator, a son of Theodore J. and Suzette (Miller) Simpson.
He is survived by his parents of Streator; a son, Anthony "Tony" Simpson of Streator; a grandson, Anthony Simpson II; his girlfriend, Angie Morgan of Streator, and her children, Caitlyn Morgan of Bloomington and Trent Wilhelm of Streator; two brothers, Jeffrey (Roberta) Simpsons of Streator and Tad (Becky) Simpson of Ottawa; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his beloved dog, Penny.
He was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Simpson; a granddaughter, Jasmine Simpson; and a sister, Terri Horton.
Kirk worked for Luckey Trucking for 30 years. He loved attending the Mountain Men Rendezvous. His Rendezvous name was "Bout Time".
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's. Condolences may be left for the family and the obituary viewed at www.hagischultzfh.com.

Just found out about Kirk´s passing. Sending my deepest condolences to the Family. I was wondering why I haven´t seen him. He passed by my house daily and tooted his horn. Was picking peaches in my yard last month. Sure gonna miss this guy. R.I.P Kirk.

So sorry to hear about Kirks passing. I worked for a company out west on 18 and Kurk was one of the truck drivers that would pick up or drop off. He was always nice to everyone. Recently I ran into him at Walmart and he remembered me. I will always remember how nice he was. Again so sorry for your loss
