It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Francis (Sullivan) Malek, 64, of Streator, Illinois, on January 23, 2025. Born on April 12, 1960,

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M. Friday, May 9th at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 9th at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Wenona. Cremation rites have been accorded.

I am so sorry for your families loss. I had the pleasure of working in the kitchen with Mary at St. Mary's in 1990 while I was in the CWT work program at SHS. She was so kind to everyone and there was no doubt she loved what she did. Praying for peace and comfort in your hearts.
