Pearl Kelly (nee Ranta)
Age 90 of Ottawa, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2023 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Born February 1, 1933 in Massachusetts, Pearl was a daughter of John and Almildia (Brooks) Ranta. She was an independent woman who got a degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for her husband. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pearl is survived by her five children, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parent, siblings and two husbands: Wayne Aberly and Larry Kelly.
Per Pearl's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a memorial visitation on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet.
