Sally A. Roach
Born: December 15, 1959 in Streator, IL.
Died: May 9, 2024 in Streator, IL.
Sally A. Roach, 64, of Streator passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at her residence in Streator.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 16th at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Wednesday, May 15th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Streator. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Born December 15, 1959 in Streator she was the daughter of Jerome "Babe" and Sharon (Francis) Pshak. She married Gerald "Bugsy" Roach on April 16, 1999. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2004.
She is survived by a brother, Doug (Jamie) Pshak of Streator; a niece, Emma Pshak; a nephew, Mason Pshak; her significant other, Joe Mehalic of Streator; a very special niece, Natasha McCormick and her children who thought of Sally as their grandmother, Cyra, Zola and Gio; her son, Eric Scarbeary of Colorado an aunt, Sandy Majercin of Streator; an uncle, Jim (Tina) Francis of Arizona; a special friend, Martha Sokol of Tennessee; and her loving dog, Buddy. She was also survived by her husband, Mick Jagger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, brothers, David and Michael Pshak; maternal grandparents, Jim and Emma Francis; and her paternal grandparents, George and Margaret Pshak.
Born and raised in Streator she attended local grade schools and Streator High School.
She worked through the years as a waitress at various restaurants including, Ken's Place, Satch's, The Sirloin House and Oogies. Sally was a very good cook and loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends. She later worked in the Deli and Kroger's where she affectingly was referred to as "The Princess of Poultry".
Sally was a fun loving person and was always up for a good time. She loved her family, her horse and especially the Rolling Stones. She loved Mick Jaeger and always told everyone that he was her husband.
Memorials may be directed to the family of Sally Roach.
