Died: August 3, 2024
Sharon Julia Farmer, 80 years, of Interlochen, MI passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024. Sharon was born on July 31, 1944 in Detroit, MI to the late George and Geraldine Myer. She married the love of her life, Ronald Lee Farmer, on November 24, 1962. They were married for 57 years. Sharon was a homemaker as well as a church secretary once her husband, Ron, graduated from Lincoln Christian College in 1973. Both Sharon and Ron dedicated their lives to serving our Lord, Jesus Christ, through ministry. Sharon was very active in the Christian Church and was a stay-at-home mother for their three children.
Sharon is survived by her children Keith Farmer, Christine (Brian) Carter, Julia (Mike) Thirlby; grandchildren Joshua Minnix, Sara (Peter) Hansen, Katherine (Justin) Clark, Anthony (Natalie) Hill, Jr., Hannah (Johnson) Doan and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Harvest Bible Chapel, 1669 South Garfield Avenue, Traverse City, Michigan 49686 on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 1 p.m. If you would like to send flowers, please send them directly to Harvest Bible Chapel for delivery on Friday, September 6, 2024 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
