Died: December 26, 2024 in Burlington, WI
Thomas Patrick Stimpert, 68 of Burlington, Wisconsin and formerly of Streator passed away Thursday (December 26, 2024) in Burlington, WI.
Following cremation, a visitation will be held Thursday (Jan. 9th) from 10 a.m. until 12noon at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12noon at the funeral home and burial will be in Phillips Cemetery at a later date.
Tom was born on March 18, 1956, in Streator to Earl and Josephine (Guyon) Stimpert Sr. He married Penny Bussell on September 22, 1979. She survives.
Also surviving are daughters Stacy Marie Stimpert and Amber Joy (Eric) Owens both of Burlington, WI, brothers Dana (Marge) Stimpert of St. Johns, FL and Robert (Brenda) Stimpert of Streator, sister Janice (Harry) Callahan Jr of Streator and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Earl Jr and a sister Marcia Day.
Tom attended St. Stephens Grade School and graduated from Woodland High School in 1975. He was employed at Thatcher Glass, Ball Foster Glass in Plainfield and retired from Ardagh Glass in Burlington.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
