Viola Marie Mann, 87 of Streator, passed away Wednesday (August 24, 2022) at the Aperion Care in Spring Valley.
Private family services will be held. The Winterrowd Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Viola was born on August 21, 1935, in Maywood, MO to Charles and Iva (Plumer) Bergman.
Surviving are children, Terry (John) Smith, Harry Mann, and Karen Walkey all of Streator, grandchildren; Charissa Wade, Sean Smith, Jonathan Davis, Erin Harmon, Jordan Dorsam, Johnathon Walkey and Joshua Walkey and 9 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson John Smith Jr., brother Charles Bergman and a sister Shirley Jorgenson.
Viola was graduated from the Hannibal High School in 1954 in Hannibal, MO. She was formerly employed at the Streator Garter factory, Smith & Douglas and lastly, she was a CNA at Heritage Manor.
Viola was a member of the Masonic Lodge Eastern Star and the Central Church of Christ.
Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
