Died: October 21, 2022 in LaSalle, IL
Warren "Canary" Savage, 86, of LaSalle, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park, Spring Valley, also at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller-Pagani Funeral Home, LaSalle.
Mr. Savage was born February 5, 1936, in Spring Valley to James and Rose (Data) Savage. He married Diane Grandadam on June 4, 1988, at the First Methodist Church in Ottawa.
Mr. Savage was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1954-1958. He worked at Carus Chemical and R. R. Donnelly. He always put his family first, enjoying every minute spent with them. He loved watching the Chicago Cubs and Illinois teams. He especially enjoyed time spent with his loving wife and sister-in-law, taking walks at Baker Lake and sharing a Yuengling beer with his sons, grandsons and neighbor, Jim.
Survivors include his wife, Diane; his children, Michael (Lynn) Savage of Bartonsville, PA, Mary West of Peru, Tino (Gail) Savage of Bethel, PA-Savage Mountain and Joseph (Catherine) Savage of Lake Zurich; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Linda Grandadam and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, James Savage, Bill Savage, Bob Savage and Paul Savage and three sisters; Betty Hoffert, Patricia Pagoria and Marilyn Weber.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Horizon House.
