William Rygh passed away January 19, 2024 in Downers Grove, IL. Bill was born to Clifford and Margaret Mulera Rygh in Pontiac, IL on October 25, 1936. He graduated from Marquette High School in Ottawa, IL. Bill married Margie Cantlin October 7, 1961. Together they raised an amazing family. He is survived by his wife and sons William (Sondra) and Steven (Marcia), eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and siblings Clifford (late Marlene) Rygh, Mary (Jerry) Sexton and Shirley (late Dean) Towers. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Margaret (late Michael) Alberts. Visitation is Friday January 26th at Hallowell and James Funeral Home in Downers Grove. Services will be 10:30 Saturday, January 27th at Marquette Manor Baptist Church in Downers Grove.

We're so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. It was always such a joy to see him at gatherings, with his quick smile and kind words.
Mick's 3 sisters...Betty, Mary, and Kathy, along with their husbands, have requested that a tree be planted in Bill's memory. May it flourish just as all of his family has.
