Zackery Boswell Obituary
Zackery "Z" Andrew Boswell, age 31, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15th at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home with Reverend Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Charley Clifford, Chase and Lee Hoffman, Nicole McCray, Ethan Nanouski and David, Dustin and Desirae Donohue.
Zackery was born September 13, 1989 in Ottawa, Illinois, a son of Randy Allen and Patricia Ann (Nanouski) Boswell. He is survived by his parents, Patricia Nanouski-Clifford and Randy Boswell; siblings, Samantha Boswell, Charley Clifford, Isaac Boswell, Dante Boswell and Ella Razo; and grandparents, James P. (Sheila) Nanouski and Shelley Nixon.
Zack attended Crossbridge Community Church in Ottawa. He was a laborer at Pilkington, a member of Crossfit Exemplify, enjoyed hiking, collecting and reading comics, listening to music, dancing, feeding the squirrels and reading. Zack always took pride in his appearance. You could find him regularly with a fresh fade, a pair of Jordans and t shirt or hoodie supporting a Chicago sports team. What Zack loved more than looking good was to make others feel good. He loved to make people laugh and smile.
What Zack loved first and foremost was his family.
