Replogle-Lawrence Funeral HomeRonald (Ronny) Boswell, age 81, passed away in the early hours of December 17, 2025, in Savannah, TN. He was born on November 3, 1944, in Medina, TN. Although his roots were in Medina, Milan was his home.
He was a long time supporter of the Milan Bulldogs and above all else, the Tennessee Vols, which was apparent by his orange and white stripped van.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edna Boswell, his brother Don Boswell and his daughter Elizabeth (Beth) Boswell.
He is survived by his son Greg Boswell and wife Samantha, granddaughters Hannah Patrick Wilson and husband CJ, Olivia Patrick McAdams and husband Curt, Haley Boswell McQueen and husband Kenny, and Abby Lonon. He was the proud great grandfather of Charles and Cason Wilson. He is also survived by his brothers, Leslie Boswell and wife Diane and Harvey Boswell and wife Jenny Lynn, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Ronny was generous and kind, with a servants heart and a passion for spreading the gospel.
He enjoyed spending time with his family above all else. He was an active member in the Milan community for many years before moving to Texas. He was the former owner of Boswell Oil Company and Milan Raceway. He also worked in real estate later in life and was known for making copious amounts of his famous pies. He was loved by many and will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home.
