AC,

I am deeply saddened by the knowing that you are no longer with us in this life. But my prayer is that you are smiling with Christ as I am writing this message. You were a very kind person with a big heart. I am grateful that God saw it fit for our paths to cross, for it was a pleasure getting to know you.

My condolences and prayers are extended to the personal family and friends of AC who are still grieving from his passing.

I had the opportunity and privilege to meet AC after an Edmonton Capitals game last summer.

I had brought my son and some of his teammates in for my son's birthday and we got to meet AC and speak with him for 15 or 20 minutes...not much to really get to know someone, but long enough to know he was a warm person who had a great smile and was very approachable.

I was sad to see him leave the Edmonton Capitals last season and never heard anything else about him until I read the tragic news of his all-too-early departure from us.

He made a strong and lasting impression on our group and we'll always remember how he took the time to share a few words of encouragement and talk about the game we all love.

The Westlock Peewee Wild send our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of AC, he will be deeply missed...RIP AC.

Cricket, even though you and I didn't see each other often when we did you always had the biggest hug and kiss for me. Thank you for going to your lil cousin's football games. When you told Eddie you were going to be there you were you never went back on your word. Thank you for all the pep talks you gave Eddie about doing the right thing, staying in school, never giving up on his dreams, never letting anyone steer him the wrong way and for just being that roll model he could always look up to and he did. Ac was the best cousin anyone could ever ask for, there was never a time when I needed to speak to that he didn't take time and just listen you what I had to say. He was this all around very sweet young man who would always have you laughing about something, but most of all he had a really good heart and if he'd ever make you a promise he'd try his best to keep it, I love you Lil Cousin you'll always be missed. AC aka "Cricket" aka "Pro-Qualified" was such a caring and loving son, brother, friend, and an awesome baseball player. I'm so fortunate to have known him. Everybody loved Cricket, EVERYBODY!!! I'm so happy that I have all these memories of him so happy and always smiling. My prayers are with the family at this time of devastation. GOD always takes the great ones first...HE had a better plan for you Crick! You will be missed dearly, but best believe, your memory WILL NEVER be forgotten. Eventually we will all meet again.
