A.E. "Pete" Harrell, 82, passed away on Mon. Aug. 4, 2025 in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. Aug. 5, 2025 from 5pm-7pm and on Wed. Aug. 6, 2025 from 1pm-2pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Wed. Aug. 6, 2025 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest, MS.
Pete was born on March 30, 1943 in Forest, MS to the late James H. Harrell and Callie Lou Brown Harrell. He enjoyed being outdoors and driving his wagon with his two mules, Jack & Jill. Pete also enjoyed drinking coffee at the Breakfast House and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Penny White, Jimmy Harrell (Chelsea) and Alex Edward Harrell Jr.; sister, Mary Hamm (Baker) and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Pete is also preceded in death by his two brothers, Lavell Harrell and John Donald Harrell; grandson, Sammy Harrell and a great grandchild, Lincoln Warren.
