A. Carl, age 86, on December 12, 2025, of Bryn Mawr, PA, formerly of Haverford, PA.
Carl was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan as well as the Flyers and Phillies. He was a member of the Aronimink Golf Club since 1981.
Predeceased by his son, Michael and his parents, Marie (nee Nicholas) and August Helwig.
Survived by his wife of 60 years, Catherine L. (nee O'Donghue) Helwig, his sons, Terence (Terri Fraser) and John (Janine), his three grandchildren, Caitlyn, Maximilian, and Mathias, and his siblings, Daniel Helwig (Faye) and James Helwig (the late Patricia).
Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Monday, December 22 nd, 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM in the Sacred Heart Chapel (Lower Level) followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM in the Main Church ALL IN CHURCH at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, 35 Old Eagle School Rd, Wayne, PA 19087. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
