WALTERBORO, SC- The Management and Staff of THE SERENITY MORTUARY - HISTORIC BEAUFORT CHAPEL, alongside the Bredice & Beverly Families announce the passing of Mr. Aamir Kareim Shabazz, 29, of Walterboro, SC, who entered into eternal rest on Monday August 11, 2025 at his residence in Walterboro, SC.

Aamir was the beloved son of Ms. Josephine Bredice, Mr. Zach Compton, and Mr. Albert Beverly. He was a devoted father to his three sons, affectionately nicknaming them Monkey, Lion, and Elephant-each name reflecting the deep love and unique bond he shared with them.

He was also a cherished brother, a loyal friend, and a man whose presence lit up every room he entered. Known for his big heart, Aamir never hesitated to put the needs of others before his own. He had an infectious laugh and a sharp sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. He loved to laugh, and even more, he loved to make others laugh.

Aamir was unapologetically himself-opinionated and unafraid to speak his mind. Yet, behind that boldness was someone deeply committed to family and love. He believed in the strength of connection and unity, and he worked tirelessly to build and nurture those bonds.

A true jack of all trades, Aamir had a hand in everything from automotive repair and bodywork to construction, landscaping, and art. His creativity shone in his drawings, and his passion for knowledge often revealed itself in deep philosophical conversations. He was also a devoted animal lover, with a deep respect for all living beings.

In recent years, Aamir took immense pride in creating a chosen family made up of people from all walks of life-a reflection of his belief that love transcends background, race, and circumstance.

Aamir will be remembered for his warmth, his honesty, his laughter, and his unwavering love for those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and connection that will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
