It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Aaron Lee Brewer, age 60, of Terre du Lac, who departed this life unexpectedly in Arkansas on Thursday, February 26, 2026. He was born on Friday, September 10, 1965, in Bonne Terre to the late William “Bill” and Dorothy (Forshee) Brewer. Aaron was a beloved husband, father, brother, and papa, whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of many.
In addition to his parents, Aaron was preceded in death by brother, Glendale “Joe” (Laverne) Brewer; in-laws, Lester and Norma Barbee; brother-in-law; Gary (Lily) Barbee.
Aaron was a dedicated truck driver for many years, affectionately known by his fellow truckers as "Hickorynut." His occupation not only provided for his family but also allowed him to forge lasting friendships along the roads he traveled. He shared a beautiful partnership with his beloved wife, Janice Brewer, for 39 wonderful years, and their bond was a testament to love and commitment.
Outside of work, Aaron led a life full of passion and joy. He found happiness in shooting guns and enjoyed playing cards with his friends, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He cherished every moment with his five grandchildren, who he was lovingly referred to as "PaPa." His grandchildren—EmmaLynn, Teagan, Bayne, Slade, and Wrenley—will forever hold dear the memories of the laughter and love they shared.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Janice; his son, Tyson Wilkins and wife Ashley; daughter, Carissa Rawson and husband Taylor; brothers, Don (Jane) Brewer, Floyd (Judy) Brewer, and Ervin "Bill" (Sandy) Brewer; cherished grandchildren; brother-in-law, Terry (Carla) Barbee; fur baby, Ava; along with several close nieces, nephews, family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a memorial service immediately following with Jessie Barton officiating.
