Aaron Danno Obituary
Aaron Danno
Aaron Kristen Danno, 39, passed away on Oct. 09, 2025. She was born on May 10, 1987, in Kalispell, Montana to Mary-Helen and Evan Danno.
Born and raised in Kalispell, Aaron always had a passion for people and making connections. In high school she thrived, excelling both academically and in speech and debate-earning a trip to Nationals. Watching her compete was a joy, inspiring friends and family alike. She always pushed herself, completing not only a double major in English and Psychology, with honors from Montana State University in Bozeman in 2009, she also pursued a major in Speech Pathology at the University of Montana in Missoula, driven by her passion for communication and helping others. Aaron wanted to make sure everyone could find their voice and was always willing to lend an ear and truly listen.
In 2014, Aaron welcomed her greatest joy-her son, Troy Sletvold. Becoming a mother was her true calling and perfect happiness. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising him with love, laughter, and strength.
Aaron was an extraordinary woman-brilliant, kind, fiercely determined, and gifted in so many ways. Her voice was caring and compassionate but also beautiful and her singing resonated with an artist's heart for words. Her intelligence, wit and loyalty shone through in everything she did.
Even as she courageously battled Huntington's Disease ceaselessly throughout her life-a battle she faced after losing her mother and sister to the same illness-Aaron's spirit remained unbreakable. Though the disease ultimately took her ability to speak, it never took her light, her love, or her will to fight.
Aaron's warmth and generosity touched everyone she met. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who would give without hesitation and love without limits. She was wild, loving, and driven in everything she did.
She is survived by her beloved son, Troy Sletvold; her father, Evan Danno; her sisters, Tracy Danno, Diana Garcia, Michelle Aquino, and Ashley McCormack; 12 nieces and nephews; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary-Helen Collier; her sister, Alica Fredericks; her grandparents; three uncles; and cousin Jason Collier.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Aaron's life on Saturday, November 22, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Bias Brewery.
Aaron's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the power of a beautiful soul who made the world brighter just by being in it.
