Aaron “Denny” Dennis Cockerham, Jr., 66, passed away Tuesday July 8, 2025. He was born June 7, 1959 in Surry County to the late Aaron Dennis Cockerham, Sr. and Peggy Faye Reavis Cockerham. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Patricia Johnson and Tammy Sue Cockerham; brother Timothy Cockerham. Surviving are his wife Linda Vestal Cockerham; children Scotty (Kim) Cockerham, Kevin Cockerham; grandchildren Keely Cockerham, Tanner Cockerham, Wyatt Cockerham; niece Stepanie Gragg; nephews Josh Johnson, John Johnson. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 PM Saturday July 12, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday July 12, 2025 at the Cockerham Family Cemetery. Gentry family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Cockerham family.
