Aaron Thomas Edmonds

Aaron Thomas Edmonds, 44, of Dobson, NC passed away October 13, 2025, at his home. Born December 7, 1980, to Tommy Dean Edmonds and the late Cathy Virginia Peele Edmonds. Aaron worked in agriculture as a farmer. A loving husband, father, son, and friend. “In a dark world, Aaron was a light”, as said by his son, Davis. His daughter, Cathryn, said “if the world had more of her daddy’s in it, it would be a better place to live.” Left to cherish his memory is his wife of almost 20 years, Brooke Crutchley Edmonds; daughter, Cathryn Grace Edmonds; son, Davis Thomas Edmonds; father, Tommy Edmonds (Kathleen); uncle, “Uncle Lonnie” Edmonds; and many special friends and cousins. Along with his mother, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Virginia Peele; and paternal grandparents, Wendell and Opal Edmonds. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Salem Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Sean Joplin and Rev. Dan Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Brooke, to be held in an account for the children, or to Central Middle School FFA Chapter at 883 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
