Aaron David Estrin, age 44, loving spouse, cherished son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend, departed this world on Friday, November 28th, 2025. Aaron was born January 5th, 1981, in Rockford, Illinois, to Robert Estrin and the late Catherine Estrin.
Aaron grew up in Freeport and Mundelein, Illinois, where he became a devoted Chicago Bears fan. At age 12, he fell in love with the trading card game, Magic The Gathering, where he would go on to compete in several tournaments and pro tours. His love for the game took him all over the United States and even globally to Amsterdam.
Aaron was a graduate from Mundelein High School and received his associate's degree in business administration and management from the College of Lake County. Aaron worked in the IT world for over twenty years. He was most proud of securing his position with the federal government at the Bonneville Power Administration in
Wenatchee, Washington.
There was nothing that Aaron cherished more than his love for his soulmate, Gina. After meeting in 2012, it was very clear that Aaron had met his person. Soon after adding to their family with their fur-baby. Yogi. Choosing a life of adventure led Gina and Aaron to travel, and eventually to move across the country to Washington State. Building their life and careers together in
Wenatchee, Washington.
He loved being an uncle and bringing joy to his nieces and nephews. Nurturing his many friendships back in Illinois and in Washington and sharing in life's moments.
Aaron is survived by his loving spouse Gina Oliver, dads Robert Estrin and Jeffrey Geddes, brother Joshua (Casandra) Estrin, niece Esme, and nephew Ezra. In-laws Cheryl and Stevan Mahn, sister-in-law Lianne (Nick) Wojtanek, niece Rayelle, nephew Oakley, brothers-in-law Kyle, Jeremy, and Jason Mahn.
A celebration of Aaron's life will take place in the Chicagoland area in January. Details to be shared at a later time.
