Aaron Martin Eversull, 76, of Mena, AR passed away with family at his side, to be with his Lord, January 11, 2025, after a lengthy battle with melanoma.
Aaron was born in Worland, WY to Harold and Margaret Eversull. He lived in Riverton, Worland, Gillette, Rock Springs, Lander, and Cheyenne, WY. Then later in Washington State and Colorado Springs before settling in Mena, AR.
Aaron is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Margaret Eversull, brother Harold Gene Eversull, and late wife Vivian Kay Eversull.
Aaron loved spending time in the outdoors. He loved traveling with his wife Sherry, enjoyed filling out his Arkansas State Parks passport by visiting all 52 Arkansas State Parks, He was an amazing woodworker and avid flea market junker.
Aaron was a member of Salem Baptist Church and a former firefighter/first responder with Dallas Valley Fire Department where he received firefighter of the year in 2010 and 2012.
He was simply the best, as a husband, father, grandfather, Lolly, and great grandfather. But most importantly, Aaron was a child of the King and loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Aaron is survived by his wife Sherry Eversull of Mena, AR, daughter Amy Walker (Dezi) of Willow, AK, son Ryan Eversull of Riverton, WY, stepdaughters Makenzie McDowell of Wichita, KS, and Mindy Lyle (Kris) of Mena, AR, step son Jacob Hughes (Andrea) of Mena, AR. Grandchildren Luke Walker, Sage Eversull, Nick McDowell, Nick Lyle (Breanna), Drew Lyle, Tyler Lyle (Kiersten), Matt Lyle (Averrie), Jaxson Lyle, Jazlynn Lyle, Kiylee Hughes, Annlyn Hughes, and Sophia Hughes, great grandchildren Reid Lyle and Lydia Lyle.
Celebration of Life will be February 15, 2025, at 11:00am at Salem Baptist Church in Mena, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com.
