Aaron Gallegos Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Romero Valley Funeral Home, Inc. - Alamosa on Mar. 29, 2025.
January 20, 1993 – March 27, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Aaron Darius Gallegos, a beloved son, father, partner, brother, and friend. Aaron's warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Aaron is survived by his loving partner, Amber Garcia, and their two beautiful children, Aaron Jay and Aspen Lyla Gallegos. He is also survived by his parents, Toby and Michelle Gallegos, his brother and best friend, Conrad Gallegos (Krista Sanchez), and his nieces and nephews, Noah, Joseph, Serena, and Alexis. His grandmother, Lolita Lopez, grandfather Jimmie (Pam) Romero, Nino Amadeo Jr. (Cindy) Valdez, and special aunt Tiffany Gallegos. Also mourning his loss, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who became family.
Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Elsie Gallegos, his grandfather Arthur Lopez, his Nina Melita Lobato, and his uncle Joseph Gallegos.
Aaron found his greatest joy in nature, riding his four-wheelers, taking off on side-by-side adventures, camping, and making memories with his family and friends. He was a dedicated and proud father, always putting his children first and ensuring they knew how deeply they were loved. He cherished his routines with his family of cruising, listening to music, and soaking in every moment with his children.
Aaron was his father's best friend, a loving and supportive son to his parents and an unwavering presence in his brother's life. He had a special bond with his Nino Amadeo, especially during his favorite time of year, the Fourth of July, when he took pride in lighting fireworks and creating beautiful displays for the whole community to enjoy. His love for New Mexico music and his visits to see his grandma Lolita were just a few of the traditions that made his life so full.
Aaron's kindness, humor, and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was known by many for his distinct impersonations of people we all knew. Though his time with us was far too short, his love and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Aaron You will always be loved, and you will never be forgotten. Viewing will be held on Friday, April 4,2025 from 11-3 PM at Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa. Vigil Service will be on Saturday, April 5,2025 at 11 AM at the Centennial High School Gymnasium, Mass to Follow at 11:30 AM. Aaron will be laid to rest at the San Luis Catholic Cemetery.

Marty and I were very sad to hear about Aaron's passing. I know him from all the 4th of July fireworks that my brother Amadeo (JR) and his family attended in San Luis. Our condolences to Aarons family. May his family have Peace and Strength for their upcoming days.
Prayers for all of Aarons family.
