Aaron Thomas Hodge, age 24, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025. Born on August 3, 2000, Aaron lived his life with quiet strength, curiosity, and a deep love for learning.
Aaron was the beloved son of Christina Hodge and brother to Emily Hodge. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandparents, Jay and Renee Gill; his aunt, Jennifer Gill; and his cousin, Mystic Higginson.
He is survived as well by his father, Paul Hodge, and brother Tyler Hodge.
Aaron lived with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), facing each day with remarkable resilience and heart. He found joy in exploring the world through video games and sharing interesting facts he uncovered in his endless search for knowledge.
A Memorial Gathering will be on Thursday, July 24, from 10am to 12pm, with a Memorial Service to follow at 12pm, all at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
In honor of Aaron’s life and spirit, and per the family’s allergies, it is kindly requested that donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation (MDFF) in lieu of flowers.
