Aaron Anthony Hopson, age 55 of Nauvoo, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at his residence.
Aaron was an avid Alabama Football fan. He enjoyed going to the games, watching his team on television and collecting memorabilia. He wore his University of Alabama fan gear proudly. He also enjoyed being on the golf course as well. He had a special friend in his faithful dog Chuck. However there were 2 things he loved more than anything, doting on his precious wife Julia and serving God with everything in him.
Even though Aaron and Julia never had children, there were two young ladies that were near and dear to his heart, Haleigh and Abby Lamon. His family, many friends and coworkers will forever have a missing piece of our hearts that Aaron held in his hand.
Aaron's love for God was evident in everything he did. He enjoyed being the Sunday School director and teaching his class. He had a very special place in his heart for the youth of his church from past till present. He was well respected for the way he lived his life with humbleness and truth above all. The Lords Grace be with us.
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:" 2 Timothy 4:7 KJV
