Aaron Lewis Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 26, 2021.
A beloved father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, Aaron Lewis left the world unexpectedly on Monday, June 21, 2021.
Born in Austin, Texas on February 17, 1995, to Chris Lewis and Donna Clayton. Aaron was energetic, loving, and full of life. Aaron accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized when he was 8 years old.
Aaron ran track in high school and was a graduate of Hendrickson High School, class of 2013. He sang in the youth choir. He was artistic and creative, and loved drawing in his spare time. His greatest achievement was fatherhood. This was a major turning point. Being a father brought about a new change and direction in his life. His girls became his primary focus.
Aaron's love for the girls led him to greater possibilities and expectation for the future. His girls were the joy of his life.
Aaron was preceded in death by his great-grandfather; grandmother, Willie K. Brown and Rosie L. Brown; special and great-aunt, Lois Morgan. Those left to cherish precious memories include his daughters, Cali Lewis (mother Devonisha Dale) and Aalayah Lewis (mother Leesandra Standberry); his parents, Donna Clayton (Gilbert Brown) and Chris Lewis (Ronda); siblings, Gerald Brown, Victoria Yett, and Serenity Lewis; grandparents, Nayon and Linda Marrero, Deborah Clayton and Cornell Harrison, Margie Ray, MT, Jr. and Maria Lewis; two aunts, Audrey and Margaret Morgan; his beloved uncles; and a host of family and friends.
Aaron's spirit, huge smile and his smooth swag filled up any room which he occupied. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. His kindness and love touched all who crossed his path, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
