Published by Legacy on Sep. 23, 2025.
Dover-Foxcroft, ME - Aaron C. Merrill, 51, passed from this life on September 23, 2025. He was loved deeply by his family and will be sorely missed. He was born on April 10, 1974, to John and Barbara Merrill in Greenville, ME. Aaron was the youngest of three children, one brother and one sister.

He graduated from Brewer High School, The Job Corps program for Automotive Mechanics, and later participated in classes for Airplane Mechanics. He lived in Georgia for many years working in Residential and Interstate Construction. After returning to Maine, he helped to care for his brother who was ill, and later his grandmother.

Aaron had a deep appreciation for the natural world and spent hours enjoying the outdoors. His love for nature was matched by a passion for movies and art, where he found entertainment, inspiration, and a creative outlet. Known for his adventurous spirit, he was an adrenaline enthusiast who felt most at home behind the wheel of a fast car or operating machinery. He lived life fully, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Asa and Amanda Merrill; granddaughter, Marceline J.L. Merrill; mother and stepfather, Barbara and Richard Parker; sister, Julie Chabot; and grandmother, Jean Hitchcock.
