We are heartbroken to have lost our precious son, Aaron, of blessed memory, on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025 while we're on a family cruise in the Caribbean. We believe he experienced a heart arrythmia while snorkeling as he became distressed and nearby swimmers helped him to the nearest boat. Unfortunately he went into cardiac arrest and heroic measures were unable to save his life. We remain in shock and devastation. We have lost a treasured person, a wonderful, devoted son, cousin, uncle, nephew, friend and brother to Elliot and Shayna.

Aaron was a person of great dignity, accomplishment, exemplary character and very fun-loving. He was sweet, caring, sensitive, helpful to others, and he embraced life on every level. He had so many friends and they too are grieving.

At this point, rather than focusing on feeling robbed of the time we should have had together, and of the future he should have had, we are trying to focus on being grateful for the 37 years we were gifted with our loving, fun, good-natured son.

We have learned that the body dies but that love cannot die and is the real gift our loved ones leave for us. We know that families are forever. We will always feel he is somehow a living part of our family and hope we will always feel his presence, hear his voice, know what he would have advised in various situations, and know what he would have found humorous.

As we think of various times with him, we either laugh, smile or cry. These are tough moments but we welcome them because it means he continues to touch our lives and we are still connected.

We will try as hard as we can to perform good deeds in his memory, moreso than we ordinarily would, because we know if he had lived on, he would have helped others with acts of kindness, as he often did. So, we will endeavor to do more good deeds than "our share" in order to keep his life force going, so that the good deeds he would have done still get done, as if he were still here; so that the universe is not diminished by his early death. We hope when you think of Aaron you will do the same, helping and comforting someone in need of support and doing things that help make our world a better, kinder, and happier place.
