Aaron Thomas Orman, "The Dude," "Bruno" 24, lifelong Chicagoland resident, passed away unexpectedly March 28, 2025. Beloved son of Travis (Molly) Orman and Jennifer (Bert) Regnier; devoted grandson of Larry (late Georgia) Wisniewski and Gary (Bonnie) Orman; loving brother of Amanda Orman and fond stepbrother of Truman C. Regnier, Zach Regnier, Alex Regnier, Nikki Swanson, and Roman S. Ghorbani; also survived by his beloved bunny, Waffles, and numerous friends and extended family.
Aaron was described by his family as a loving, kind-hearted, and compassionate person who would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a superior work ethic, even starting his own business with his best friend, David Davydov, and always persevered with dedication and discipline at anything he did. He was eager to be a leader and to learn new crafts such as working on cars, selling real estate, and coordinating the patient transportation department for a local hospital. Aaron was also a self-taught ukulele player and enjoyed spending time cooking, which he shared with hundreds in his time as a catering chef.
He was an active member at St. Symphorosa Church and played an integral role in leading the food and beverage booth during the annual carnival. Aaron will always be remembered for his outgoing and selfless personality, always 'marching to the beat of his own drum.' He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends at Central Chapel, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL 60638 on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, April 5, 2025 with chapel prayers at 9:15 a.m. to St. Symphorosa Church, 62 and Austin Avenue in Chicago for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Cremation following in accordance with his wishes.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Aaron's name to the following organizations: - Two Holy Martyrs Parish (St. Symphorosa) – Aaron was an active member of the Parish and a committee leader for the Annual Family Fest: https://forms.ministryforms.net/embed.aspx?formId=106723a2-e6d5-4f1d-aacf-d7af245068f7&custom-templates= - Animal Place – Aaron was a true lover of all animals, with a special fondness for cows and bunnies: https://animalplace.org/
