Aaron Edgar Proffer, age 80, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at his home in Scott City, MO.
He was born July 22, 1945 in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Aaron retired from the Scott City Schools, where he worked until his retirement as a custodian.
He was a member of the St. Joeseph Parish in Scott City, MO, Knights of Columbus in Scott City, and a member of the Elks Lodge # 1810 in Chaffee, MO.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews, and very special friends and care takers, Bradley and Sandy Ressel.
Preceding him in death were, three brothers and one sister.
A private family funeral mass will be conducted.
Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Holder, Richard Springs, and Bradley Ressell.
