Aaron Keith Timms, 49, husband of Amy Dow Timms, died Friday, February 13, 2026, at AnMed Medical Center.

He was born in Greenville County and the son of Clarence Odell "Cot" Timms and the late Margie Avanel McCue Timms. He was of the Baptist Faith, he loved music especially playing his guitar, he loved his puppies and was an avid Clemson Fan.

He is survived by his wife Amy Timms of the home; his father Clarence Odell "Cot" and stepmother Janice Smiley Timms; sons, Cole Timms and Hunter Chapman; brothers, Mike Ray of Greenville and Terry Ray (Evelyn) of Minnesota; and lots of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Margie Avanel McCue Timms.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM on Tuesday February 17, 2026, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jay Hardy officiating.

Family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Monday February 16, 2026, at Cox Funeral Home.

Flowers are accepted or Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s.

The family will be at the home of Sandra and John Dow at 6000 Belton Hwy Belton SC 29627.

Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
