Blacksburg - Aaron Michael "Lil Man" Verrier, 23, of 102 Adams Acres, passed away tragically on Sunday,
December 15th, 2024.
Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Aaron Lee Verrier and Crystal Nicole Sliney and the significant other of Mykayla Breann Martin. Aaron was a fullblooded country boy. He loved hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and anything else that is done outside.
Aaron also loved playing pool and playing in pool tournaments.
In addition to his parents and significant other, he is survived by his children: a daughter, Haisley Grace Verrier, and another sibling on the way; a sister, Hailey Danielle Wentz; his paternal grandfather, Willie Lee Verrier; two aunts, Janet McAbee (David) and Christina Bowen (Brandon); special cousins: John Lail, Ethan McAbee, William Moore, Nathaniel Moore, and Gracie, Bryson, and Olivia Bowen; and a nephew, Keevon Keelan Tate.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Brianna Nicole Sky Wentz; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Sliney; his paternal grandmother, Joy Verrier; and an uncle, Robert Sliney.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00pm with Rev. Joey Shetley officiating. Pallbearers will be John Lail, Aaron Verrier, Alex Turner, Brian Gilliam, John Walker, Brandon Bowen, John Riley Walker IV, and Dalton Morris.
The family will be at their respective homes.
