Aaron Wade Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Colonial Funeral Home & Crematory - Phenix City on May 10, 2024.
Aaron Arnold Wade, a lifelong resident of Columbus, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on September 22, 1956, to the late Ray Arnold Wade and Lillie Mae Wade, Aaron's life was one marked by steadfast faith, dedication to his community, and a deep love for his family.
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Lillie Mae, his brother Edward Wade (Susan). He is survived by his beloved siblings: Deloris Hobbs and her husband Delwin, Sherry Wade, Barbara Bates and her husband Alan, Jimmy Wade, and Tony Flowers. His Aunt Brenda Knox, along with numerous nieces and nephews, also survive him.
For many years, Aaron was a dedicated spinner at Swift Denim, where he was known for his strong work ethic. His commitment to his work was only matched by his devotion to his faith and his church community. Aaron was an active and cherished member of the New Beginnings Fellowship Church. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, and he lived every day with a spirit of grace and gratitude that was infectious to all who knew him. Aaron's faith-filled approach to life was evident to anyone who had the pleasure of crossing his path. He was always ready with a word of encouragement, a prayer, or a helping hand.
As we say goodbye to Aaron Arnold Wade, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey completed with honor, and a soul that has undoubtedly found its eternal peace. His memory will be cherished, and his presence sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Aaron's life will be honored in a service that will reflect the love and light he brought into this world. The service will take place at New Beginnings Fellowship Church, Monday, May 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm ET with Rev. Gene Garner officiating, where he spent many fulfilling hours in fellowship and service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 pm ET at the Church. It will be a time for family, friends, and community members to come together to share memories and to honor a man whose life was a testament to the power of faith and the strength of the human spirit.
