Aaron J. Wright of Kalamazoo passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at his home. Aaron was born on January 19, 1958, in Kalamazoo, MI. He was the son of the late John and Constance (Johnson) Wright. He grew up in Kalamazoo and graduated from Hackett Catholic High School.
Aaron leaves behind a legacy marked by love, strength, and good humor. Throughout his life, He was known for his big-heart and strong-willed spirit. Aaron was hardworking and generous to a fault, but he was known to have a stubborn streak. He enjoyed boating, classic cars and tinkering with technology and computers. He loved music and movies, especially anything from the ‘70’s. Aaron enjoyed photography and took pictures of everything.
He dedicated over 40 years to his career as a master electrician and owned his own business for the last part of his career. He was respected by his colleagues and left a lasting impact on those he served.
Aaron was especially proud of his family. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Pam; his children: Andrea (Greg) Alkema, Chad (Kelly) Wright, Jessica Cramton and Cassandra (Marcus) Wright-Keech; his step children: Scott Crummel, Christopher (Angel) Larsson, Sean (Malissa) Weber, Lisa (Joe) Rudnick, Clinton Guyeska and Alan (Jordan) Coyne; 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; his siblings: Geoff (Jessica) Wright, Terry (Teresa) Wright and Lizbeth (Joe) Albertson as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering is being planned at the family home; 5072 South 29th St. Kalamazoo MI 49048 on Saturday, October 18 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
